CPR renewal courses
Global Fitness Institute conducts regular First Aid courses, CPR classes and CPR renewal sessions, both at our various campus’ as well as gyms, schools, sporting clubs, corporate facilities and even other training colleges.
It is an industry requirement that CPR certification is required to be updated or renewed every 12 months, whether you are a fitness instructor or tactile therapist, or in any situation where you have a duty of care for your clients.
It is not a requirement to be an existing GFI student to complete the course, and we also recognize first aid qualifications previously attained via other organizations.
Our most popular format of CPR training is for the participant to complete the online CPR theory component prior to attending a practical training and assessment session on basic life support.
The CPR unit HLTAID001- Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
For those who already possess their First Aid qualifications, there is a requirement to update skills and knowledge every 12 months.
Global Fitness Institute online CPR courses allow the student to view videos, read learning materials and complete assessment quiz from home, prior to coming in for practical training and assessment. Its the perfect format for those who are time poor, and can be done without taking a day off work.
