BECOME A FIRST AID TRAINER
Global Fitness Institute is looking to recruit suitably qualified and motiviated people who wish to be a First Aid Trainer. You need to be competent in the delivery of First Aid and have passion for facilitating learning in an interactive, innovative and engaging style. Global Fitness Institute delivers the highest standard of First Aid Training using student centred Adult Learning techniques and comprehensive competency based assessment.
You can be located anywhere in Australia – you do not have to be in the fitness industry, nor run session for those in the fitness industry. Our First Aid qualifications are Nationally Recognized across all industries.
Perfect for school teachers, gym owners, club operators etc. You can deliver training to your own existing clients.
Unlike other training organizations who will pay you a fixed/capped hourly rate, GFI gives you a base rate PLUS a generous share of the total enrollments from that class. The bigger the class, the more you earn.
We provide access to all the learning materials and assess all course work and certification at our end – you merely need to deliver the session, teach and assess the practical components.
Before applying for a place in our training program you must be able to meet the following criteria:
- You must hold a current Certificate IV TAE40116 in Training and Assessment.
- If you possess the TAE40110, you must also have achieved the two additional units of TAELLN411 and TAEASS502.
- Experience in the facilitation of adult learning
- High levels of competence and experience in First Aid
- Be aged 18 years or over
- Be willing to undergo a Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Must hold a current Drivers’ Licence and have own car
Note: If you have a background in nursing or paramedics you must also have current First Aid certificates and skills.
You could typically earn around $100/hour (based on a class of 10 First Aid students), bigger classes could earn you more.
