SIS30521 – Certificate III in Sport Coaching
The GFI Certificate III in Sport Coaching is a great entry level course for those who are currently in the role of coach in a sport, or looking to coach.
Coaches are responsible for planning, organising and delivering an appropriate range of sports activities and programs for individuals and teams. Typical responsibilities include: teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques.
Our delivery mode includes the flexibility of online theory content, videos, online staff support and the option of face-to-face practical training. Assessments can be customised to any sport, and can even be carried out at your club or sporting environment.
Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply the skills and knowledge to coach participants up to an intermediate level in a specific sport.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in a community coach role working or volunteering at community-based sport clubs and organisations in the Australian sport industry. Individuals with this qualification possess a range of well-developed skills where discretion and judgement are required. They are responsible for their own outputs.
Specific industry accreditation requirements may apply to sport-specific coaching accreditation and information should be obtained from the relevant National Sporting Organisation (NSO).
