A coach, in sports, is a person who directs, instructs and trains the operations of a sports team or individual sportspeople. They are also often seen as a teacher or mentor.

Graduates from Global Fitness Institute’s Diploma of Sport (Coaching) will possess the appropriate, industry qualifications to work as a coach. You can also customise assessments to any sport, as per your preference.

Diploma of Sport (Coaching) for Martial Artists

While a black belt is awesome it you have one, it is not a coaching qualification.

Most martial arts instructors have no formal training in how to coach. Further, standards vary widely across martial arts schools due to the difference in instructor skills, knowledge and experience.

Certificate III in Sport Coaching

The GFI Certificate III in Sport Coaching is a great entry level course for those new to coaching, or looking to coach.
